Centenary United Methodist Church
Centenary United Methodist Church, a historically Nikkei church in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles.

Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple
Throughout the 2,500 years of its history, Buddhism has evolved over the years to meet the spiritual needs of the people. Our Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple is an affiliate of one of the oldest and largest denominations in Japan, the Shinshu Otani-ha with approximately 10,000 temples and 10,000.000 members. It espouses the teachings of Jodo Shinshu (also known as Shin Buddhism, a form of Pure Land Buddhism).

Nishi Hongwanji Los Angeles Betsuin
The Nishi Hongwanji Los Angeles Betsuin has been serving Southern California since 1905. It belongs to the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha, one of the largest denominations of the Pure Land stream of Mahayana Buddhism. As a Betsuin, our temple is a direct branch of Nishi Hongwanji-ha in Kyoto, Japan. It is also one of 62 temples affiliated with Nishi Hongwanji in the mainland United States

Maryknoll Japanese Catholic Center
The Maryknoll Japanese Catholic Center was dedicated on Septemeber 24, 1995. The Fathers of the Maryknoll Order bade their final farewell in June of 1996 making way for Father Henry Mair and Father David Doerner of the Friars of the Atonement who arrived in August 1997. The old school building is now our Activities Center used by our 55+ groups, classes and clubs including our Adult Religious Eduaction gatherings and our Sunday School which is now 65+ strong! Maryknoll Japanese Catholic Center is flourishing.

Union Church of Los Angeles
Union Church has been the beacon of Christian strength through all the trails and tribulations over the past 75 years. It weathered the deep recession of the thirties, World War II, the concentration camps for the Japanese and Japanese Americans, the relocation and return to Los Angeles of members and friends.

Zenshuji Soto Zen Mission
Zenshuji Soto Mission was founded in 1922 by Rev. Hosen Isobe on a second story flat to serve the growing Japanese American community of the Los Angeles Basin. Open to all, we are dedicated to bringing the teachings of The Buddha as illuminated by the wisdom of Dogen Zenji to America. A family orientated practice Temple, Zenshuji is located in the busy heart of Los Angeles in the Little Tokyo/Artist district. We offer Zen Practice for the Lay practitioner in a uniquely Japanese style setting.
